While the “holiday slog” of fewer pickleball sessions across Southland comes to an end, one of the region’s premier (slightly competitive!) pickleball leagues is back.

Southland’s longest-running Pickleball League returns on Monday 9 February at the MLT Event Centre, Gore Multisports Complex — bringing weekly games, great community vibes, and plenty of court time for players of all experience levels.

For some, the word “league” can sound serious or intimidating — but this one definitely isn’t. The Gore Pickleball League is run in a relaxed, welcoming spirit, withjust a sprinkle of competitiveness. Players are quickly normalised to their level, which means you’ll enjoy balanced games and great rallies every week.

In short: this is Southland’s ultimate pickleball league for beginners through to experienced players.
