More Casual Pickleball in Invercargill – Tuesdays at ILT Stadium Southland

Even more casual pickleball is now available in Invercargill!

Drop-in pickleball sessions are running at ILT Stadium Southland (The Velodrome), givingplayers another great opportunity to get on court each week.

With most casual pickleball sessions across Southland Murihiku now back for the season, this Tuesday evening session adds even more court time for players of all levels.

And there’s more to come! This block will run until the end of the first school term (31 March 2026), before likely transitioning into an exciting team league format. There’s even talk of potential inter-regional play between Southland and Otago; so stay tuned!

These sessions are organised by Scott from Tennis Southland, one of the earliest supporters of pickleball in Invercargill. If you’re keen to improve your swing mechanics while having a relaxed, social hit, this is a great place to start.

As always, Southern Slammers is proud to promote all available pickleball sessions across Southland. Equipment is provided; just bring a good attitude and readiness to play.
