This was a massive effort to launch a South Island-wide championship title for the first time, and we couldn't be prouder of how it came together here in Invercargill. Huge shoutout to the whole team at **ILT Stadium Southland** for hosting and organising this inaugural event. Special thanks to co-event directors **Michelle Cottage** (ILT Stadium Southland) and **Scott Patterson** (Tennis Southland), and for trusting me with the tournament format. The goal was simple: maximise court time and give every participant as many meaningful games as possible. Even in the smaller divisions, players got 6+ games per day, and we were able to fully rank every division at the end of each day. That's something we're really proud of. --- ### Thank You to Our Sponsors Local events don't happen without local support โ€” and we were incredibly fortunate to have backing from both local and national brands: ๐Ÿฅ‡ **Gold & Title Sponsor:** Team James & Hannah, Ray White Invercargill ๐ŸŽพ **Ball Sponsor:** Pickleball Stuff NZ ๐Ÿฅ‰ **Bronze Sponsors:** Mend Physio & Pickleball Essentials ๐Ÿ“ **Local Nets Support:** Pickleball Gore A massive shoutout also to **Dan**, a volunteer from the **Insert Coin To Play Charitable Trust**, who took ownership of photography for most of the event.
